18.-20.03.2014. The proposal INTEGRATE (Interdisciplinary Training Network for Validation of Gram-Negative Antibacterial Targets) was submitted on 09/04/2014 and, after evaluation, was invited to project grant agreement (No 642620) preparation.
Implementation of project has started from 01.01.2015.
2. Consortium meetings for the preparation of proposal for Horizon2020 Call H2020-PHC-2015 “New therapies for Rare Diseases”, London, United Kingdom, September 4-5, 2014 and January 14-16, 2015. The proposal was submitted in the 1st stage of call. After the evaluation consortium was invited to prepare proposal for the 2nd stage of call. Full proposal was prepared and submitted on 21.04.2015.  As a result, the proposal was highly scored: total score was 14.50 (Threshold: 12) and it was suggested for financing. The funding for the researchers in the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis: EUR 399 625. The evaluators concluded that the proposal has excellent innovation potential because the project will not only benefit Batten disease patients but also other patients and future research of other rare diseases related to lysosomal pathologies.
